Weekday games start at 7pm, weekend games at 5pm. Tickets can be bought online or at the stadium box office on game days. The atmosphere is festive, with lots of beer and food sold by vendors. It’s considered completely safe for visitors, and many foreign residents hold season tickets.
The largest aquarium in Latin America with 30 habitats and 150+ species — sharks, sea turtles, rays, sea lions, and penguins — plus a dramatic 42×23 ft ocean tank window; family-friendly, educational exhibits and live feedings. Admission is about $380 MXN for adults (discounts for children and seniors). Open daily 10:00 AM–6:00 PM.
Cerro del Crestón — Faro Mazatlán: Hike up to the tallest natural lighthouse in the world for unbeatable Pacific views. It’s a steep climb of 336 stairs, so wear sturdy shoes and bring water; the climb is free and the glass-bottomed observation deck has a small fee (≈ $2 USD). Go early morning or late afternoon when it’s cooler. Any taxi, Uber, or pulmonía driver will know the way.
